• We do not ask you for passport, visa or payment details, and we do not want them.
• The checklist progress you tick is stored in your own browser (localStorage). It never leaves your device.
• If you subscribe to updates we store your email address only to send you those updates, and you can leave at any time.
• If you use the contact form, the name, email address, topic and message you enter are sent to Web3Forms, a third-party form service, which relays them to our inbox. How Web3Forms handles that data is set out in their privacy policy. We keep the resulting email only as long as needed to deal with it.
• For EU/UK visitors: we process subscriptions on the basis of consent, we keep the minimum data needed, and you can request deletion by replying to any update email.
• We use Google AdSense to show contextual advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Your Online Choices.
• We use Baidu Tongji, a web analytics service operated by Baidu, to count visits and see which pages are read most. It sets an identifying cookie in your browser and sends the page you are on and your IP address to Baidu's servers. How Baidu handles that data is set out in its privacy policy.
